Once upon a time there lived a foundation. Its
friends celebrated its creation over a wonderful luncheon.
On Thursday, May 21st at the Roseburg Event Center, the Community
Foundation of Grant County hosted a 25th Anniversary Celebration and
it was grand!
Nearly 250 donors, colleagues, and friends joined together to reflect
on the success of the Foundation over the past 25
years. Everyone talked, laughed, and had a thoroughly wonderful
time as we all took a leap back to the year 1984...the year the
Community Foundation began.
Additionally, we presented three Spirit of Philanthropy
Awards. Mississinewa DECA, Hilary Harris, and Marion General
Hospital were all recognized for their generosity in our community.
All this just goes to show that in Grant County, philanthropy is
easier done than said!
