Treasurys Bounce on Government Auction

Treasury yields jumped this week following what bond traders called one of the best 10-year note government auctions ever. The yield on 10-year notes fell to the lowest level in nearly seven weeks.

Freddie Mac reported mortgage rates falling again this week on renewed concern over the labor market and unemployment numbers. The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage (FRM) averaged 5.20%, down from last week when it averaged 5.32%.
