A letter of thanks from one of
our scholarship recipients...
Dear Betty Sheren Scholarship Fund,
I am writing to show my appreciation for the scholarshp
award. I want to express my gratitude, because without this
scholarship, I might not have been able to complete my RN degree.
I can't begin to say how much you've helped me fulfill my dream of
becoming a successful RN.
My kids also thank you, because when I am done with school
we will no longer have to struggle.
It is very hard raising two children alone and thanks
to you awarding me this scholarship, I am
one step closer to success. I hope I can help someone
one day just like you have helped me.
Thank you again!

Community Foundation Provides Leverage to Donors
The Community Foundation of
Grant County is pleased to announce a Matching
Donations totaling between
$100 and $ 4,000 made to new or existing endowments will be matched
at a 1:4 ratio, per donor, as a way to leverage your charitable
dollars.
(See table below for minimums and maximums.)
The match will apply to
donations made between May 4, 2010 and December 31, 2010 or
until the $25,000 matching cap is
committed, whichever comes first.
Plus, a $4,000
donation with our $1000 match would allow you or your family to
start your own named endowment at the Foundation. Call us at
765.662.0065 for more information. Increase your charitable
deductions, improve the quality of life in Grant County, and make
your money work for you all at the same time! That's a good
investment!

Hello, again
to everyone! It seems like so long since I've been in
touch.
Fortunately, my
family and I got to take a much-needed vacation. Wow, what a
beautiful country we live in. We got to enjoy a lot of new
scenery and have a little fun along the way, too.
But, no matter
how great vacation is, it's always nice to come back home. It's
here that we can truly make a difference.
I hope you'll
consider taking advantage of our current matching program that will
leverage your charitable donation and make a difference to a local
charity. Every donation counts!
Thanks, Peace
and Blesssings,
