Gilead Ministries $1,000 was awarded for a laptop computer. Gas City Historical Society $10,000 was awarded to renovate the furnace at historic West School. Grant County Rescue Mission $2,881 was awarded for a new ice machine. Special Olympics $1,850 was awarded for a laptop computer, accessories, and a storage unit. Riley Children's Foundation $3,300 was awarded for Grant County youth to attend Camp Riley. Marion Inner City Outreach $3,000 was awarded to replace the front porch of the MICO house. Girl Scouts of Wapehani Council $4,152 was awarded for fencing, pole barn updates, and other minor safety issues at Camp Windigo. Grant County Garfield Project $1,000 was awarded for the Swayzee Garfield Statue. Grant County Triad $4,000 was awarded for a receiver unit for Project Lifesaver. Convention & Visitors Bureau $7,200 was awarded for start-up costs for a central box office. Quilters Hall of Fame $4,460 was awarded for paint for the exterior of the Quilters Hall of Fame. North Central Indiana Cyber Crime Unit $7,063 was awarded for a network storage server. Family Service Society $5,000 was awarded to replace the security system at the Flannery Keal Home. Economic Growth Council A $20,000 proactive grant was awarded for the Northeast Indiana Regional Marketing Partnership. Crippled Children & Adults A $8,578 grant was awarded for the purchase and modification of a van for the handicapped. Second Harvest Food Bank A $5,000 grant was awarded for delivery costs for the Grant County Tailgate Program. Cancer Services of Grant County A $3,000 grant was awarded for a computer system for the satellite office. Town of Van Buren A $5,000 grant was awarded toward the purchase of a tornado siren. Salvation Army A $5,165 grant was awarded to add a concrete slab and shed to the existing food barn. St. Martin Community Center A $4,673 was awarded for the Kid's Cafe Program.
