The mission of the Community Foundation of Grant County has always been to enhance an improved quality of life in Grant County. We do this by continuing to increase endowed assets. Currently the Foundation holds over $18 Million Dollars in assets as the Community’s endowment.

We strive to be more purposeful and effective in our grantmaking to meet the community needs. In fact, we’ve granted nearly $8 million dollars since the inception of the Foundation in 1984 and $423,283.00 just this year. That does not even include the additional $267,875.00 that we distributed in scholarships to our local students.

Additionally, we work hard to increase commitment to our community by serving both as a community leader and a neutral convener. Project Leadership activities through the CAPE grant and the Synergy ’07 event are both great examples of this.
