A lifetime Grant County resident, Liz Wright has been the Executive Director of the Community Foundation twenty years. Liz earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, and has taken numerous courses from the Indiana University School of Philanthropy. Liz is currently serving as a state and national reviewer for the Community Foundation National Standards. She has traveled to Eastern Europe and Russia as a member of the Community Building Delegation promoting good will and a better understanding of nonprofit organizations.
Liz was the first female elected to the Grant County Council and served two terms. She served seven years as Executive Officer of the Marion Area Board of Realtors.

Dawn Brown has been a member of the Community Foundation team for six years. She currently serves as the Community Development Officer. Dawn is a native of Grant County and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Ball State University and a Master’s Degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, as well as a Certificate in Fund Raising Management (CFRM) from The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.
After years as a school teacher in Texas, and several more jet-setting with Vivendi-Universal as the National Implementation Manager, Dawn, her husband Jerry, and their sons, Griffin and Dalton, moved back to their hometown. They are all actively involved in the community in an effort to make Grant County a better place to live, work, play, and worship.

Sherri Rush has enjoyed being the accountant and CFO at the Community Foundation since 2002. She earned her Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University. She attends College Wesleyan Church, and is active with the Christmas City Walkway of Lights and the American Society of Women Accountants. Sherri is happy to share her Marion home with her husband, their two children when they are home from college, and their Black Lab.

Sherrie Stahl has been with the Foundation since 1998 and is the Community Foundation’s Office & Program Manager. Along with the day-to-day office management, Sherrie manages our Grant, Youth Grant, and Scholarship Programs. She has participated in the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy’s Fund Raising School and obtained Webmaster Certification from Ivy Tech Community College. Sherrie is a Grant County native, and lives in Sweetser with her husband,Ron.

Ashley B. McKnight is the Receptionist and Clerical Support for the Community Foundation. Ashley graduated from Mississinewa High School in 2002. In 2007, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Kentucky Mountain Bible College. Ashley enjoys investing in Grant County as the youth director at Adams Street Christian Church and by volunteering at the Pregnancy Help Center.
